HOW IT ALL STARTED

In September of 2024, I was having one of the toughest weeks of my life. My job in finance was draining me—I felt stuck, exhausted, and disconnected from who I was. It was one of those times where you start wondering if this is just how it’s going to be from now on.

One Friday, my girlfriend and I, along with a few friends, decided to get away and head up to the mountains. We ended up at a local dive bar where an 80s cover band was playing. Music’s always been a big part of my life—it has a way of pulling me out of whatever I’m feeling, good or bad.

That night, while I was dancing, something shifted. For the first time in months, I actually felt like myself again. I looked around the bar and noticed the walls were covered in old, mismatched signs and quirky decor. One thing caught my eye: a broken neon sign of cowboy boots with the words “Keep Walking” written across them.

It wasn’t the brightest sign. It was kind of falling apart. I was like that sign—still trying to find my way, but not as sharp or bright as I used to be. The phrase stayed with me the rest of the night.

The next morning, the idea clicked. Keep Walkin would be the name of my brand. It felt right—simple but with meaning. The sign had reminded me that even when things feel broken or dim, you keep moving forward. I went out and bought an embroidery machine, taught myself how to use it, and slowly started to bring this idea to life.

Leaving my old job wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the right one. Starting Keep Walkin has been the most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done. It’s not just about making clothes—it’s about embracing the journey, even when it’s messy, and finding the strength to keep going.

I hope these clothes give you that same reminder—no matter where you are, or how you’re feeling, you’re still walking. Keep going. Keep walkin ;)
